Itinerary
Day 1: Setting Sail on Your Quest
Your adventure begins with a scenic bus ride from Alta City to the docked vessel. After a warm welcome and a delicious dinner, the guides will brief you on the upcoming expedition and distribute your gear. The excitement builds as you settle into your cabin, eagerly awaiting the next day's adventure.
Days 2-3: Orca Encounters and Arctic Exploration
Wake up to the serene beauty of the Arctic at 7:30 am, followed by a hearty breakfast. By 9:00 am, the boat sets sail through the stunning fjords in search of orcas. The thrill of spotting these magnificent creatures is indescribable—whether it happens immediately or after a few hours of anticipation.
When you get close, you'll transition to dinghies for an intimate encounter with the orcas. After a morning of awe-inspiring interactions, you return to the mothership for a warm break with soup and coffee. If conditions permit, you’ll head back out after lunch, continuing until dusk. Evenings are filled with captivating lectures about orcas and their behavior, followed by opportunities to witness the mesmerizing Northern Lights or relax in the wood-fired hot tub.
Day 4: One Last Dive
On the final day, the quest for orcas continues, making the most of every moment. The expedition concludes with a farewell lunch before your return to Alta, leaving you with memories to last a lifetime.

Pierre the Orca whispers presentation was amazing and taught us/prepared us for being in the water with Orcas.
I still can’t believe we swam with the Orcas 3 days out of the trip with over 20 encounters. We were able to see the northern lights 3 times as well!
Chef John was amazing, best food I’ve ever had on a liveaboard. Tony and Torbjön also taught us a lot about professional photography.

It was a real highlight seeing the orcas up close and there were so many of them. The crew and orca guide were very knowledgeable and the evening lectures were fascinating. The Northern Lights were amazing from on the Sula and the food was exceptional. The chef catered for all dietary requirements without compromising on quality.
When can I go again?!
