Multi-Sport Cruise in Raja Ampat

Overview

Intro
Want to discover all Raja Ampat has to offer in style? How about setting sail on a 12 day adventure cruise aboard a luxurious yacht?

And when we say luxurious yacht, it isn’t a sipping martinis and crisp white polo shirt kind of vessel, but a comfortable expedition base camp equipped with modern and stylish creature comforts. Imagine coming back from a day on the water and enjoying a freshly cooked meal in the huge dining area then enjoying sundowners with new friends in the open-air lounge.

This tour allows you to see the highlights of Raja Ampat with the freedom and comfort of a liveaboard. From the moment you land in Sorong to the moment you take off, you do not have to worry about a thing. Your guides and yacht crew will take care of all safety matters and logistics.

This trip is fantastic in that it allows guests a variety of adventure activities throughout the day. You choose if you want to kayak, dive, trek, snorkel, or SUP.

We did a kayaking trip off the boat in November. It was an amazing experience, one that we would love to repeat.

The guides were excellent and all staff on the boat were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They went out of their way to make our experience wonderful.

The only reason I did not give the trip a 5/5 review, was that the boat did give a diesel smell in the lower cabins. However I believe this has been rectified. The snorkelling and scenery was superior to anything we have experienced.

Compared to other operators, Expedition Engineering is way more tuned into reading the guests’ abilities.

There’s this feeling that you are always safe, they have your back. But at the same time, you can have fun, and maybe go try something that’s a little bit of a stretch, but a good one.

And then you have this amazing, all-around experience.

They really take into account everything, the pre-trip communication is excellent. They involve you in every step in the process, there is a lot of discussion about suggested routes and itineraries.

And what we like about the trips that they offer, is the unique experiences and the unique places.

A few of the places we’ve been to, we’ve been the first people to do that area in a kayak.
