Our Story
Hi! I’m Amanda Zeisset, one of the creators of the Adventure Fix newsletter and Adventure Fix GO.
Years ago, I met a charming Spanish man named Antonio while exploring New Zealand. Instead of the typical dinner and a movie, Antonio would take me kayaking to secluded islands or trekking through the mountains. His thirst for adventure was contagious, and before long, we were off exploring every corner of the country together.
His first proposal wasn’t for marriage—it was for a multi-year bike tour across Latin America. That journey sparked something deep within us. When the trip ended, we knew we didn’t want to stop. So, we spent the next decade chasing adventures around the globe.
Instead of slow, steady overland trips, we sought out those dream adventures. Some of our favorites include gorilla trekking in the Central African Republic, hiking to K2 basecamp, liveaboard diving at Malpelo Island, sailing the outer islands of the Bahamas, visiting Antarctica, and kayaking through the pristine waters of Palau.
Each of these experiences shaped our lives in unforgettable ways. When people told us, “I wish I could do those kinds of trips too,” we felt inspired to help them make it a reality.
